DIY Beauty Fridays: Homemade Cinnamon Bath Soak

You know it's winter when you see your breath while walking that short distance from the parking lot to your office building or you need to wear a scarf EVERY time you go outside, even if it's to grab a coffee, and heavy socks and boots replace ballet flats and wedge heels.  Though it comes as no surprise that seasons change, winter does seem to be harder to embrace than the others.

Hence the need for a cozy date night with your bathtub.

Homemade Cinnamon Bath Soak

1 cup powdered milk
1 cup baking soda
3 TBSP cornstarch
2 TBSP cream of tartar
1 1/2 TBSP ground cinnamon

Add all ingredients to a tupperware container, or mason jar, and mix well.  Prior to use ensure ingredients are fully mixed.  Add about 1/2 cup of mixture to your bath.  (This recipe creates one batch that can be added to your bath about 4 - 5 times.)

Winter calls for soaking in warm tubs and pampering yourself indoors to try and stay warm.  Try this recipe, ladies, and let me know what you think.  I can guarantee that you'll feel extremely relaxed ans your skin will feel amazing!  **I should also mention that if you're on a budget for Christmas this year (I know I am), bath soaks make a GREAT gift.  You can whip up tons of different types, put them in mason jars and make them extra pretty with bows and ribbon.**

Happy Friday ladies and happy soaking!
